Someone may not come out and directly ask for donations.

The predators that prey on real people that try to help their fellow man, target the heart strings and generosity of those willing to help in a time of crisis.

While not openly asking for sympathy or donations, both will assuredly come.

That is what makes this sort of thing so evil.

When the real motives are exposed for what they are, the people that jump to help others are more hesitant to do so, because they don't trust anymore...
