Hate to hear about the loss of a beloved pup. They are with us for too short of a span.

Here at the house the kiddos nearly lost their cat the other day. They always wag him around and love on him every day, treating him like an infant (first cat they've been allowed to have). Wife backed over him in the driveway with the kids in the car. Best we can figure, he just didn't care that the car was running and was laying next to the tire, underneath the car. Sidewall must have grabbed him because it pulled off both his collars and nearly crushed his head. Old Zeke was just laying limp in the driveway. Vet said it didn't look good, but I'll be danged if he didn't get sent home after a few days. Couldn't close his mouth for a while, drooling everywhere, two legs didn't want to work, just pitiful. Little turd is now at 95%, playing and running and eating hard food again. Probably would have killed a person, but cats do get those nine lives. He'd been hit by another car before we got him. Hit in the head of course.

Better be tough if you're gonna be dumb.
