Dad gave my wife a 88 in 243 when she complained about the recoil of my 308..Had to take the scope off cause she could never find anything in it...LOL She used to do a lot of cowboy action and was far more comfortable with open sights..

Same rifle back when dad had it.. That larger buck was his last..
