NY bear. Ruger .44 carbine in his head at about 40 yards walking towards me sitting under a tree. Gorgeous hide and had plans to have a robe made. Freezer unknowingly died and I didn’t discover it for about a month. Salvaged the claws as best I could. The nail slipped from the bone. Got crafty and filled them with silicone and some black paint. Found a nice hunk of driftwood to hollow and make into a base. Welded up a stand and added some led lighting and it turned out pretty good IMO.
