Many of my hunts have also gone just as you describe Geno. I hunt with five good buddies and we put in for a group tag each year. We've only pulled tags six times in the past thirteen years, which is actually pretty good.
Sometimes the tags turn out to be for some less than prime deer areas and with Nevada's declining herds you're lucky to see a buck or even a doe on some days. I still wouldn't miss the opportunity to spend time out camping with the buds.
