I got one of those! A big buck and a doe go into a big thicket. Buck comes piling out and my then three year old compadre hollers, “shoot em dad!” Up comes the 300 Savage and down goes a basket racked 10 pointer as the big one hustles out the other side. 🤦‍♂️ [Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

He and another buck came running across a small clearing in front of my stand. From the time I saw them until I had a Slick Trick ran into his front end was maybe 7 seconds.

Heads all high and I thought it was 2 nice bucks.

The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!
