Nope, flushing all the way, for me.
Pointing dogs are nice for open country birds like chukar and quail, but for tall brush, cattails and timber I like a dog that will flush them for me as I try to stay up on the banks and higher ground, so I can actually see when the bird flushes. Nothing is more frustrating to me than having to go into cattails over your head to flush a pheasant that is being pointed.
That, and a fair portion of the time the birds flush anyhow when the pointing dog gets close enough to actually point them, so they're pretty much just a flushing dog anyhow when that happens. A good flushing dog that has it figured out can often get in front of running birds and get them to run or flush back towards you.

Both have their place but I prefer flushers and even at times in certain situations, I prefer no dog at all.
