about an hours ride out of town and an hours worth of dipping for smelt (or hooligan as they're known here) resulted in 25 bucketfulls, couple phone calls and after an hours drive back to town .... all gone within minutes of arrival

lots of happy little old ladies, single moms and lazy mens families got some fresh fish for "the winter" ... lol

not all that big of a fish, but big on taste, if you know how to prepare it
