Was watching an old Top Sniper II episode last night, and saw something interesting that kinda applies here.

After zeroing and verifying rifles the day before, the first stage of competition was a "Cold Bore" shot.... 12" circle, distance: 700 meters, 2-rounds. Now, they did not have a range.... so they had to Mil the target and estimate. Only 1 team hit with the 1st round.... and these are pros, shooting in very tame weather.

But, I'd love to see the number of hits if they were given the range, or allowed to use a rangefinder?

Here's a question that has decided many a "wonder if I could make that shot" situations for me:
Would I bet a box of bullets on a first round hit? If you wouldn't stake a box of Hornady's finest on it..... and risk some ridicule... why would you bang that round at a critter?

You better pray to the God of Skinny Punks that this wind doesn't pick up......
