I have no issue with the point and shoot stuff. I can do almost exactly what they are doing with today's technology, why would I care how they hunt or what they hunt with? I hope they know how to tune a rifle and work up a load, without that, that ugly arse scope thingee is not going to me of much use.

The burris illuminator or whatever those things are do just about everything that thing does besides read wind and mark a target.

In fact I would rather more people use it if they are going to shot long range without the required skills to do it right. It would stop some wounding, not near as much as making short range guys pass a proficiency test every year, but some.

Heck I would assume that people with the "It is our duty to do everything possible for a quick kill" argument would be all for it. It looks effective. It just shows the true desire, to change the way we hunt.
