What I may try with this one is make a "nose flattener die"
When I had a .45-70 Marlin it shot the 350gr Hornady RN well, but I wasn't crazy about using round nose bullets in a hard kicker's tubular magazine. I made a very simple die that held the bullet square, and then pressed a flat into the nose. I was trying to prevent a chainfire, but the technique might work to improve the bullet's lethality.
