A lightweight single shot in .38-55 would be cool, but that execution is not the best. I think they just directly scaled down the 1874 action. The triggers are rather awkward, and the triggerguard is too small, at least for me. Dakota also builds one, but they use a single trigger. And they cost a lot more.

One guy on the single shot forum was trying to sell a modern Low Wall in 6.5x55, and that one would be a slick rifle. It may still be available.
