Only thing I've got illuminated is a Nightforce 5.5-22x50 that sits on a HB .308 that I really wasn't planning on using... Only other thing I've got 30mm rings for is a Mtn. Guide 7mm-08 and the scope would be damn near as big as it.

I was actually thinking of bringing a few guns that normally don't see much daylight.



I have a couple of VX-R's that have the illum. Firedot, so I'll bring them. I'll probably move the 3x9 from a 5.56 to the .308 AR. And I may bring a 6.8 AR with a 1.5-4 VX-R, as well, depending on how it shoots.

I'm thinking about either a VX-6 or a Nightforce for an aoudad hunt in October, so I may get it early & bring it.

I'll probably get a green kill light, too. We have pigs on my deer lease and they are fairly spooky, so the night hunting gear would get more use.
