I love it when optics companies have their design team sitting behind a desk. And their vast "rifle" experience comes from shooting a 410 at summer camp.
Anyone that has actually spent time behind a scope can see those reticles are a joke, only to be outdone by the giant adjustment range. One can only imagine what the internal design is like when they missed the basics by a mile.
