Can't say how they compare to other scopes of similar design, but modern scope technology has progressed beyond that design.
Most any scope you can buy will work, if all you require is to be able to kill out to 330. If you care that the scope reliably works mechanically, and is designed to facilitate that, then your choices are narrowed drastically.
