I'll play. I'm 77 years old. I have owned and used and loaded for the Remington 7mm magnum since the mid-1960s. It is one of my all-time favorites for open country hunting. It is the largest of the magnum family of rounds I could shoot well in a rifle weighing less than 9 pounds or so. I killed my largest bull elk(360 class bull) and my largest mule deer buck with one. Most of my 7RMs have been semi-custom jobs. However, I no longer use one, I went to the .280AI. several years ago because I could no longer handle the recoil of even the 7RM. In fact, I may use my 7x57 this year.
