I'm 61 years old. My first big game hunting rifle was a tanger M-77 7x57; used it for several years but was never happy with the accuracy so I got a .25-06 M77. That one shot great. I "upgraded" to a 7mm Remington Magnum in 1989 and have been primarily using that as my main big game hunting rifle ever since, for everything from deer to moose, elk, black bear, and caribou. My favorite load was 175 grain Nosler partitions. That old Browning A bolt stainless stalker has served me well. Count me as a fan.
