I'll be 70 in a couple of weeks. Bought my first one in '76, a 700ADL. That Monte Carlo stock kicked the pee out of me. Sold it a couple of years later. In '85 I bought a Ruger M77R. Loved that rifle. At some point later I restocked it with an MPI stock and matte blued it. It was my primary big game rifle until I sold it a couple of years ago. Seemed I sold a good friend. I've owned several others over the years, M77 and No. 1. Sold all of them. I'm now currently looking for a replacement for that rifle.
