Just turned 64, and yes I guess I am a fan. I had a Savage several years ago, but traded it off for something else. Recently picked up a Ruger Hawkeye. Nice rifle. Shoots great. Only killed one elk with the Savage, saving the 7 mag more for pronghorn and mule deer in open country.
