I am 62, I have seen the round used quite a bit , when I was younger I work for different outfitters as guide here on the west slope.. I don't care for the round, and out of a shorter barrel it doesn't outperform a .280. I like a more compact rifle and a 22" or shorter barrel in a repeater. Just my bias I suppose
