To add to my original post, while I like the 7 mm RM a lot, these days I'd rather use either my 6.5x55, or 270 Win. As I got older I liked recoil a lot less, even though the 7 RM is reasonable enough.
Seems a good bullet in the same place with any of the three has the same result.
