Yesterday was my first day of league play. I did not play great but I did OK and had a couple birdies. We only play nine holes.
Golfing with people I don't know really makes me golf better and I much prefer it to golfing with friends.
One of my birdies was on a dogleg par 4 out of a pretty deep bunker. I could see the top of the pin and that was it. Just enough spin to slow it down and as I climbed out onto the grass "plunk." Definitely won shot of the day.
Goalie sent me a new Driver and it continues to amaze. Only had to use it once yesterday but it was long, straight, and put me right in the middle of the fairway.
I somehow managed to fugk up my right side. Rib area. Not sure what I did but it is agonizing to swing right now so I'm only showing up on Saturdays.

I was at a friends last night and we were planning our spring and fall golf excursions.
Winter sucks.
