She got a text on Sunday or Monday of last week that, at the time, seemed more like a rumor than anything.

Slowly, all of the details of that text have been confirmed by police, except that the surviving roommates saw someone around with a ski mask on.

Makes me think the source of that text might have better info than I initially thought.
