Does the fact it happened in MOSCOW, Idaho mean anything?

Also, what does everyone think regarding the investigation. Is the killer or killers professional and they left essentially zero phyical evidence for the investigators? Or is it simply the local investigators are just way in over their head in this case? Regarding the latter, you'd think the state and fed assistance can make up for it.
