I would rather say, if Private corporations whernt allowed to buy political favors, to outsource, union bust, cut cut cut worker benefits, the US workers would be much better off.


Europe, beeing so close to Russia, knew, after TWO world wars, that their economies needed to be efficient, but also give workers more of the pie, so they wouldn't fall for the Communist dream.

Much of what also the US did to US workers and GI returning from war... They where given a pice of the pie, so they could build a life for themselves.


But, when the fall of USSR seemed inevitable, the Corporations went FULL Capitalist to maximize returns... which ment gradually cutting worker comps, paying political parties off to easily outsource, dismantle middle America, paying less and less taxes, shifting tax burden to citizens, convincing half the country that Corporations are some deity that should be protected, and any workers trying to work together and support each other is evil and a burden (to their bottom line)..
