In a rare statement Putin admits his extreme disappointment in the failure of his troops to secure Bakhmut on or before Victory Day as was promised to him by his generals and the leader of the Wagner group.
It is now known that the Wagner group leader’s harsh criticism of Moscow for lack of support was in part to cover for his own known coming failure in taking Bakhmut as he promised Putin that he would do.
