It seems to me that Russia has adopted a strategy of talking "gloom and doom" about the situation in Ukraine in order to make the west believe that Ukraine has everything under control and needs no further help from the west.
Meanwhile, Russia is blowing the place to hell and gone,...and Zelensky keeps coming up with excuses for postponing the big spring offensive.
