Bakhmut still holds on. i'm still wondering about the Russians saying it would take only 3 days to take Kiev?
Well,...."no". There really hasn't been much left of Bakhmut to "hold" for quite some time. Zelensky just kept sending troops into it to make it bad enough on the Ukraine military that NATO would send troops.
The word I'm hearing is that there are indeed some NATO troops in Ukraine, but not nearly enough to make a difference. Also, many of the NATO troops and mercenaries read the situation correctly and chose to look for work elsewhere.
Yesterday Russia dumped a huge quantity of Willy Pete on the small area of the southwest of Bakhmut that was still occupied by the Ukranian military.
