Every Stuart tank came with a Thompson. We sent a lot of Stuart's to the USSR. But since we didn't send any 45 acp ammo the Soviets simply put the Thompsons into storage. Where apparently they remained

They didn’t like Thompsons very much either. There was ammo but the Thompson was heavy and underpowered compared to the PPSH. And then they could pick up plenty of the excellent German subs and use the plentiful 9mm.

I’ll bet you there are gazillian arsenal reworked K98s in there too.

I know I'd love to be able to pick through those wares
