It was fun to watch everyone snap to attention and salute him (including the Course Attendant who came too check on us). He is a 2x Ace and a few AF folks might kinda know about him.

Fun fact: We had the course to ourselves, and we had to pull the flag stick and lay it on the ground after every hole. The AF Acadamy is RICH with elk and they see the flags and will trample the greens to get after the flags if not pulled.

Since the last 2x ace flew in the Korean war, whIch ended 67 years ago, your bil would have to be in his late 80s, at least. Kudos to him for still playing 18 holes a day.
