The issue, as I see it, is this individual is not retarded.

He is obviously intelligent, persuasive, well written, and manipulative; all wrapped in a narcissistic package. Classic stuff really.

Most folks that have had some life experience have run across someone like this - perhaps not to this degree - but they are out there.

This guy just happened to use those tools to prey/take advantage of older folks financially and others, some here, that simply had a generous or trusting nature.

Pedophiles leverage the same traits but for different goals.

I have no qualms piling on either one.
