Well I shot the thing. Fair amount of blast from 24" bbl..........but man is .300 Savage comfy. I dunno what bullet weight, proly 150's. Buddy found some old factory RP stuff, so I just let er rip with those.
Couple of things.
Mag spring is very wimpy and cartridge counter didn't index right.
It cycled fine though.
Rear sight/front sight...........I'll need a sunny day and a moron deer..........to give me enough light/time to line those damn things up.
Rear is all the way down (one notch on elevator) and it's right height at 25, but 2" left. Will tap it over........if I don't find a Willaims FP.
Trigger is pretty heavy.
This rig will need some fixin to stay in my safe. As it is right now........dunno. I will shoot a deer with it, just to say I did.
