I have an 1895 .303 Savage. I have never fired it but I would like to. It's in emaculate condition. It was produced by John Marlin. I have a certificate from the Savage Historian that says it was returned to the factory in 1920 for unspecified work. It has a hex barrel, machined bolt, which was not stock. It may have been re-blued at that time. I have two boxes of ammo for it. My problem is I don't know how to tear it down and clean the revolving magazine. I don't want to fire it until I know is clean and safe. Does anyone have and cleaning instructions?
Thanks
