Don't worry about the 1899 stamp and forget the transitional, it's a model 99H. The 1899's stopped around 1921, the 1899 stamp was on there for quite a while and has nothing to do with the model name. Once that's cleaned up, take it out to the range. You're going to like the way it handles.
