What I don't get it with investment castings and CAD machinery, no reason why a 99 could not be made today. 22-250, 260, 7,mm08, 308,339 Fed and 358 WRA.
Ive been preaching the same thing for several years. I know Savage wil have capital costs, but I beleive the market would support adequate production to amortize the costs (if it is of good quality).
The capital costs should not be too high as the design is complete and the major costs relate to digitizing the specs, but it is do-able!
