It would be wonderful if Savage once again out the "99" back into the line-up of rifles. Personally, I think the "99" was way ahead of it's time and the fact that Savage Arms is 3 miles from my home meant that everybody had one when I was growing up. Around here, you can still find untouched "99"'s however,more and more scarce due to collector interest.
