So, did BALDWIN call everyones attention on the set and then fire each cylinder into the ground after being handed the gun or not?
I'd say he definitely didn't, but that's the armorer's job...and the gun went through 2 people's hands before touching Baldwin's. I saw a segment on TV with a film armorer, and he said that his method to show the actor the gun was "cold" was to count off 6 firings of the blank gun into the ground....the armorer's job, their only job, the one they are getting paid for, the sole responsibility of their task on set.
Maybe facts will come to light that make's Baldwin responsible, and time will tell.
