Nobody has explained how, after two previous negligent discharges on the set, a reasonable person would trust the staff responsible for those two mishaps, take a functional firearm from them, point it at another person, and pull the trigger.

Nobody has pointed out the part of the negligent homicide or manslaughter statutes that absolve actors from their own actions.
