Three years ago, four nursing students, seniors in the RN program, were driving to Savannah, headed to do clinical at the hospital. Traffic stopped on I 16 due to a wreck. An 18 wheeler rear ended their car. All 4 nurses were killed.
I know a lawyer who was involved in this case. He just told me it settled out of court for $16 million for each family. And he said the Baldwin case will easily go for more than that.
Also for what it is worth, he predicts no criminal charges on Baldwin, but, criminal charges on the asst. director.
