It was Baldwin’s movie. He hires and fires. It wasn’t his first movie. You can’t claim innocence when you’re the guy responsible for the mess. If that armorer didn’t hand him the gun it was his responsibility to find out why. Instead he pointed and shot it at ANOTHER PERSON!
Actors can be idiots, that's why armorers are employed. They are supposed to take idiot actors into account and not make assumptions.
