I agree with all about the varying leveled of culpability.

However, the guy who pointed the loaded weapon at the woman without checking the status himself, and killed her, owns it.

The difference, in my mind, being he knew it was a “real gun” and that makes his inaction relative to checking the chamber inexcusable.

For “prop” guns that are not capable firing live ammo, I can see the safety protocols being culprit.

But using real guns.
