I find it incredible you would agree to this. It is obvious I have far more experience handling firearms that that slut of a 24 year old licensed armorer but if I handed you a pistol that you knew you had to point at a person would you check it first before doing so? It would annoy the hell out of me if you didn't.

That's the crux of it: the manslaughter and negligent homicide laws were not written with any "except if you're an actor" provisions.

Now, IMO, because some animals are more equal, he's will get a pass. But Hollywood set protocols don't magically absolve one from liability, and the two previous unintended discharges on that set move the "reasonable person" bar solidly out of the "blindly trust the assistant director and armorer" area.....
