Here are a few realities... Actors don't check their guns. Commercial pilots don't pre-flight the 747. Surgeons don't sterilize their medical instruments. Astronauts don't check o-rings on the shuttle Challenger. When $hit happens, there are a lot of 'other' people at fault, and typically nobody goes to prison.
Let me know when these statements are accepted as a lawful defense for Baldwin's careless and negligent actions.
