For shotguns, that is where my collection gets ugly. Only 1 shotgun in the saafe by design. A beat to death black on black Benelli Super BLack Eagle, from the old H&K days that has been 'resurfaced' shall we say, a number of times with various finishes and compounds.... With its multi shades of black layering and adjustable choke sticking out the nose, plus a mercury filled anti recoil tube screwed onto the end of the mag tube it redifines utilitarian for me. It has lots of duck blood and other game birds blood uon its finishes, but I am no great shakes as a shotgunner any more than I am a rifleman or handgunner. More like a gun nut who hunts a little.
