I'd volunteer to take the .577 hunting, except the problem is, I'd then actually have to take at least one or two practice shots - aimed, to boot. I'm not sure how good the dentist is in Monterey, but I'd probably need him after a couple of shots
I actually do know where there's a .450 Nitro Ruger #1 - which supposedly weighs 8 pounds. The wood's as plain as Rachel Madcow, though, so that's my excuse why I haven't bought it yet.
