This is almost entirely on the schools. Schools promote LGBT along with grievance theory. They promote radical action against "injustice".
I partly blame their “zero tolerance” policy regarding fighting and self defense. When I was in school, this kid would have had his ass kicked on a regular basis until such time as he assimilated and behaved somewhat normally.
Differences between boys were settled with knuckles. We all had guns, knives, etc., but knew better than to use them on one another.
So he would have been bullied until he conformed? I'm not sure that is a preferred situation either. GD

It's okay to be weird and different. The kids don't have to be bullied for it.
The Zero Tolerance policy actually protects the bullies. Before that policy came to be, the bullying was self limiting.
The kid getting picked on could stand up for himself and shut it down instead of letting the pressure build and build and build until someone snapped.
No there is no consequences.
These fugging kids are relentless these days. They would just as soon tell each other to kill themselves than say hello.
