Bullying doesn't affect everyone to the same extent, plus we really don't how much he was actually bullied. Some people are simply not wired as strongly mentally and don't come out okay from it. It doesn't have to come from other kids either, it can come right from your own family. Sometimes having bad parents is worse than having none. This boys parents both had criminal records.
