I don't know your friend. You are the one who described him as one who gets a rush from killing people.
I have never met anyone with the balls to kill humans for a thrill or for the chase.
But I have seen the difference in the hunting fields. There are those who get a huge adrenaline rush from a kill. Animal or human, it is the same pathology.
And there are us who pull the trigger and gut a critter because it is a necessary part of life. But actually find the act distasteful.
