Because they actually did heroic stuff that day, not cowardly bullshit like they did in Uvalde. The fault is not with people calling cowards cowards, it’s with the cowards.

You miss my point, the whole country had changed including the police. This is the new normal. Our Air Force just canceled a drag fashion show at an air base. The next one won’t get canceled I bet. But those guys were heroes in 2001. And they knew at some point they weren’t coming home and still went up.
