If I wasnt doing Black Powder this year I'd pop a Boar in a heartbeat with my Hornet, it pushes the 45 gr TSX's to 2900+ fps, I have put one lengthways through a coyote at around 90 yards.
Thinkin they would have little trouble with reaching the vitals on a piggy.
And the 250-3000 will get it done in spades.
